The Ohio Attorney General's office has released the names of those on an advisory panel concerning the use of a facial recognition program.
The advisory panel is made up of nine people - all of whom have ties to the criminal justice system. Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation Superintendent Tom Stickrath says it's a group of people with a ton of experience.
He says all of the meetings will be public. The first is on September 10th. The ACLU of Ohio, which has expressed concerns about the facial recognition system, had requested a seat on the panel, but was denied.
Pickaway County Juvenile Judge Jan Long is among those on the panel.
