The method to pay your property taxes was discussed with Ross County Commissioners.
Ross County Treasurer Jerry Byers shared two bids Monday with the Ross County Board of Commissioners dealing with the improvement of the county's on-line and automated tax paying services.
Ross County residents already have the capability to pay taxes on-line, by telephone, and through the treasurer's office using credit cards. Byers says these proposals are simply a way to make the current tax paying process easier for Ross County citizens.
The service would also allow citizens to pay with debit cards and e-checks along with credit cards. Byers plans to do more research on the two bidding companies and their proposals before making making his suggestion to the Commissioners.
