Chillicothe Evening Lions Club continues a long time mission of gathering used eye glasses and raising funds for their vision projects that benefit people around the world.
Member Mike Hathaway says they are still working hard at this, collecting more than 5,000 pairs of used eye glasses each year.
The Lions Club now also collects used hearing aids, which can be reconditioned, as well as old cellphones, which are donated to the Ross County Sheriff to give to senior citizens as "emergency phones".
