The new president and CEO of the Chillicothe/Ross Chamber of Commerce has hit the ground running after officially assuming his responsibilities at the first of the year.
Mike Throne, who was hired to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Randy Davies, says they hope to get into the new year by building upon a good 2018. Among ways to do this is getting with area businesses to see what their needs are and how they can help.
Throne says the way to help member businesses throughout the county feel like this is "their chamber", is to show that the chamber has their attention. He adds that he and his staff will be in contact with chamber members on a regular basis, through chamber sponsored events and simply by picking up the phone to talk.
