Chillicothe Council President Calls for Committee & Review Meetings

The Safety Service Committee of Chillicothe City Council is considering an assignment to determine the need for legislation to regulate golf carts on city streets in Chillicothe. That request was made by City Council President Bruce Arnold on Monday of this week at the request of local resident Josh Tripp. Mr. Tripp had become concerned about the issue after learning that his golf cart, which he had been using in the city, was not street legal. Mr. Tripp made a presentation to City Council in late January for the possible need for the city to clearly define the regulation for golf carts.
