The Unioto Shermans have several athletes making the state indoor track rankings.
In the boys 3200 meter run: Corey Schobelock is ranked 3rd in Ohio D2 & D3, Clayton Lynch is ranked 5th, Gabe Lynch is ranked 8th, Seth Ogan is ranked 9th, and Luke Kendrew is ranked 11th.
Unioto has never had more than two athletes ranked in the top 15 this late into the season, according to Unioto Coach Matt Paxton. Last year, the Shermans had two athletes qualify to the state meet which is open to the top 24.
In the boys 1600 meter run: Gabriel Lynch is ranked 7th, Luke Kendrew is ranked 19th, and Clayton Lynch is ranked 23rd.
The boys 4x800 meter relay is ranked 2nd - less than a second out of first, which is held by Beachwood.
In the girls 3200 meter run, Indy Spetnagel is ranked 15th and Gwyn Eldridge is ranked 24th. Lastly, in the girls 1600 meter run, Indy Spetnagel is ranked 24th.
