A Jackson man was pinned under his SUV in a single-vehicle crash in Jackson County early this morning.
Troopers from the Jackson Post of the Highway Patrol responded at 12:45 am to the crash on Beaver Pike near Valley Chapel Road.
36-year-old Blake Marcum westbound in a 2014 Toyota 4-Runner when it went off of the right side of the road, striking a pole and overturning. He was ejected and became pinned underneath.
Jackson County EMS responded along with Medflight. Marcum was then flown to Cabell Huntington Hospital, West Virginia, by Medflight.
The crash remains under investigation.
