A member of a homeless women's support group is looking for an additional facility. Judy Wells is on the board of "Seeds of Hope," which offers long-term assistance to homeless women, children, and sometimes families.
She spoke to the Ross County Commissioners about possibly getting a fixer-upper from the Land Bank that they could use as a facility. (The Commissioners said she would have to approach the Land Bank, which meets with them next Monday.)
Seeds of Hope has full-time staff behind Open Door Ministries, where the former Torch Drive In Theater was, on South Bridge Street. Wells says their motto is "homeless is not hopeless."
