TOSRV Cyclists in September Again, Not May

Don't look for long lines of cyclists this Mother's Day weekend...again. TOSRV now takes place in late summer instead of risking the unpredictable weather of late spring.

"America’s longest running cycling event," the Tour of the Scioto River Valley, is again displaced from its traditional date, to September 23rd and 24th.

2,000 to 4,000 riders "of all shapes, sizes and ages" take a two-day round trip ride between Portsmouth and Columbus, including a stopover in Chillicothe's Yoctangee Park.

They usually ride on north State Route 104 and south Business Route 23 in Ross County. You can learn more at TOSRV.org.
