Rachel (Taylor) Morton and Amanda Taylor combined for a 276-16 record for their high school careers. The fall of 200 was Rachel's senior season and Amanda's freshman. The two teamed in Doubles and won Chillicothe's first State Tennis Championship. Rachel played tennis for Abilene Christian University in Texas and is now a physical therapist in Nashville, Tennessee. Amanda and her parents moved to Washington State in the winter of 2001. In Washington, Girls Tennis is played in the spring. Amanda won the state Singles title that spring and again her sophomore and junior years. In fact, she posted a Single record of 183-1, with her only loss in the state final her senior year. After playing at Vanderbilt University, Amanda began playing professionally in France. She coaches tennis today.
