The Chillicothe Kiwanis Club has a big weekend planned. President Carolyn Ault and Melody Young say the annual Kiwanis Spaghetti Dinner has been moved to the first Friday in November from it's longstanding January date. The event acts as a fundraiser for Kiwanis and is highlighted by a pie and cake auction. The dinner will be in the Chillicothe High School cafeteria from 5p-7p Friday. Dinners are $7 for aged 16 and over and kids 6-15 are $5. Those younger eat for free. Saturday will feature the Kiwanis' Make A Difference Day project, the re-opening of the Southern Playground at the corner of South Walnut and West 7th Streets. The public is invited for a picnic and to try out the new swing set. The event takes place from 12p-2p Saturday.
