Thomas and Mario are friends for life. Lynn is the girl they both love and Speck the loose cannon who is the fourth wheel to their wagon. Just when his political career is about to get under steam, he is suddenly diagnosed with a disease that changes the course of his life. Based on a true story, this film is the journey of a combative Multiple Sclerosis patient and the group of friends and family that stand by him to legalize euthanasia in Belgium.
