The Lady Cavs Tennis team dropped a 3-2 match at Portsmouth, a set back for Chillicothe's bid for another SEOAL Tennis title. The Cavs Doubles teams won their matches and two Singles matches were nip-n-tuck. Chantel Lowe/Courtney Berry and Ellen Schmitt/Jessi Pentecost won their doubles matches in straight sets. Ali Miller a candidate for Player of the Year swept Chillicothe's Parissa Bennett in straight sets to take 1st Singles. The battle for 2nd and 3rd Singles was tough. Liann VanVolkin burg won her first set 6-3, but fell to Caroline Khoury 7-5, 6-4 in the final two sets. And Tiffany Noel's night ended in a playoff 6-0, 7-6 (7,4). The Lady Cavs head to Pickerington North Thursday.
