Back-to-back 1-0 home losses for Logan spelled sweet victory for Chillicothe, helping the Cavs claim the 2011 SEOAL Championship outright.
Last Thursday, Warren tagged Logan with a 1-0 loss which gave Chillicothe a share of the title. Then Tuesday at Logan, the Lady Cavs' lone goal was the dagger for the Chieftains and Chillicothe began celebrating the championship.
Chillicothe improves to 9-1 on the season and closes out SEOAL play on Thursday in Jackson.
Coach Zach Breth and the team captains will be featured at halftime of the Cavs football game with Gallia Academy Friday night on 1490 WBEX.
BOYS SOCCER: Cavs Score Win Over Logan
While Chillicothe's Girls were edgeing Logan on the road, back home at McVicker FIeld, the Boys scored a 3-1 win over the Chieftains for their 3rd win on the season.
GIRLS TENNIS: Cavs Win Head to Tournaments
Janet Disbennett's Tennis team finished the regular season at 6-10 overall and 3-2 in the SEOAL. Both League losses came to Portsmouth.
In their final match of the regular season, Chillicothe dominated Logan 5-0.
