The Cavalier Tennis team won its 6th straight match Tuesday with a 5-0 sweep of Athens in a makeup from Monday’s rain postponement.
Taylor Sprouse, Parisa Bennett and Liann VanVolkinburg cruised to straight set victories 6-0,6-0 in 1st, 2nd and 3rd Singles. Meanwhile, Chillicothe’s Doubles teams of Courtney Berry-Ellen Schmitt (6-0,6-1) and Tiffany Noel-Amanda Mares (6-0,6-2) helped to complete the sweep.
The Cavs (7-1/1-0) host Logan Wednesday at OUC. First serve is 4:30pm.
