VOLLEYBALL:
The Chillicothe Volleyball team remained unbeaten in the SEOAL with a 3 set
sweep of 2011 defending champs Warren at Hatton Memorial Gymnasium Thursday evening.
The unbeaten set streak remained untouched also as the Cavs move to 21-0 in sets, winning 25-20, 25-17 and 25-19.
Statistically, Hayley Robinson had 36 assists and fed Katelyn Martin and Caroline Benson 10 kills apiece with Kali Kight and Maddi Glendening 6 each. Parisa Bennett had 9 digs and Maddi Glendening 6. Bennett also led us from the serving line with a 18 of 20 attempts for 90% and 4 aces performance.
The Cavaliers move to 12-5 overall and 7-0 in the SEOAL and will host Jackson Monday. Chillicothe can claim a share of the league title with a win Monday.
The Freshmen team suffered its first loss of the season and now stands at 9-1 and the JV lost also and is now 8-6.
SOCCER:
Coming off back-to-back losses, the Cavs Boys Soccer team maintains its lead in the SEOAL with a late goal for a 1-1 tie at Logan. Chillicothe is 4-1-1 in league action and 6-4-2 overall. The Cavs will travel to Jackson Tuesday.
The Lady Cavs earned their first league win, blasting Logan 7-0. Chillicothe is now 1-3 in the SEOAL and 5-6 overall and will host Alexander Saturday at noon.
