A Cavalier win and they’ll play the winner of Hilliard Davidson- Marion Franklin on Thursday the 18th at 6pm. Davidson is the higher seed at (9th). Should Davidson beat Marion Franklin, the Cavs would travel to Hilliard. If Marion Franklin Wins, the second round match would be played at Chillicothe.

Overall Dublin Coffman was the # 1 seed with Pickerington North at # 2 and Westerville Central # 3.

Cavs Coach Bret Wrightsel likes his team's chances in the first round, but also says "I don't take anybody for granted. I feel we can also win 2nd round if we put our complete game together but will concentrate on 1st round right now. We are pleased with our seed and think the Columbus teams gave us some respect to put us in the position we are in."

The Cavs have played several D1 Columbus area teams each of the 5 years Wrightsel has coached the Cavaliers. "You have to beat some of them in order to get respect as we have done." Wrightsel adds "We have victories over Central Crossing, Hilliard Davidson and Olentangy Orange in tournament play the last two years with losses to Canal Winchester, Dublin Coffman and Tri-Valley."

Chillicothe's 2011 campaign ended in the second round with a loss to Canal Winchester.
