Chillicothe swept their meet at Vinton County Wednesday. (Correction: We incorrectly reported the meet as being at Teays Valley earlier in the week)

The Lady Cavs (70 pts) finished ahead of Reedsville Eastern (52 pts) and Vinton County (47 pts).

The Boys team won (96.5 pts), followed by Vinton County (45.5 pts) and Reedsville Eastern (26 pts).

First place finishers for the Cavalier Girls, Pole Vault - Corinne Patino, Shot Put - Alyssa Oates, Discus - Jessica Pentecost, 300 Meter Hurdles - Elaine Wilson, 4x 100 Meter Relay -Emilee Kemper, Corinne Patino, Audra Metzler, Kylie Bethel and the 4x 400 Meter Relay - Daesha Patterson, Elaine WIlson, Emilee Kemper, Megan Osborne.

Boys first place finishers included Long Jump - Jalen Jones, High Jump - Marcus Dunn, 4x 800 Meter Relay - Amen An, Ben Haller, Xavier Newsome, Arioch Parker, 4x 400 Meter Relay, Adam Bixler, Ryan Mathis, Trevan Pennington, Dalton Bettendorf, 1600 Meter Run - Ryan Mathis, 4x 100 Meter Relay - Jalen Jones, Marcus Dunn, Luke Barnes, Trevan Pennington, 300 Meter Hurdles - Trevan Pennington, 800 Meter Run - Ben Haller and 3200 Meter Run - Jacob Scharfetter.

Chillicothe will travel to participate in the Circleville Invitational Friday night.

Chillicothe Softball picked up a 5-1 win at Washington C.H. to lift their record to 9-13 to close out the regular season. The Cavs will face Logan Monday afternoon in a Sectional semi-final. There will be an admission charge at the game Monday, $6 for adults and $4 for students and children. The first pitch is 5:30pm.

The Baseball team finished the regular season 8-13 after falling at Washington C.H. 5-0.

The Cavaliers travel to Warren Monday to open the Southeast District Sectional tournament.
