Canal Winchester took Chillicothe in Boys and Girls Track & Field.
The Lady Cavs lost 85-53. Lady Cavs taking top spots, Corinne Patino in the Pole Vault, Baylee Stark in the Long jump, Jesse Pentecost in the Duscus and Alyssa Oates in the Shot Put. The Girls also won the 4x 100 and 4x 400 Meter Relays.
While the Chillicothe Boys didn't win the meet, the did have event winners. Josh Garrett in the Discus, Marcus Dunn in the High Jump, Luke Barnes the Long Jump, Trevan Pennington in the 300 Hurdles amd Ben Haller in the 3200 Meter Run.
The Cavs will host the Cavalier Club Invitational Friday. Participating schools are Unioto, Washington CH, Gallia Academy, Granville, Westerville Central, River Valley, Fairfield and Centennial. Field Events begin at 4:30pm.
The Cavs have had some changes to their spring schedules. The Tennis match with Jackson for 4/25, Lacrosse with Fairfield for 4/25 and Softball with East Clinton for 4/26 have been canceled.
The Lady Cavs fell 12-7 in a battle at Walnut Hills in Cincinnati Saturday.
Goalie Chantel Lowe made 10 saves at the goal; Anna DeGarmo and Courtney Berry attained two goals each, with Nicole Camponeschi, Alexis Garcia and Samantha Watkins achieving 1 goal each.
Chillicothe heads to Westerville Central Tuesday for a 5pm face off with the Lady Warhawks.
The Cavalier Boys finished 17th of 28 teams at the Mansfield Mehock Relays Saturday. wrapping up the two day competition.
Josh Garrett placed 4th in the discus with a throw of 142 feet.
Marcus Dunn finished for fourth in the High Jump (tied but awarded 4th )at 5'10".

The Cavaliers were to host a baseball triple-header with Wauseon and Westfall Saturday and the Lady Cavs with a single game with Westfall in softball, but the early rains forced a postponement.
No rescheduled date has been announced for the games. If they are rescheduled, watch for the new dates and times on the schedules to the left of this page.
The Chillicothe Girls placed third in the Mehock Relays Friday. Megan Osborne won three events, the 100, 200 and 400 Meter Dashes.
In an email to WBEX, Coach Steve Semancik said "Overall, I could not have been prouder with the effort and willingness to compete against the competition. There were several ladies who went above and beyond the call of duty. When one of then relay member could not do the races another girl jumped in."
The Zane Trace Girls finished 8th.
Just six Boys events were run Friday, Paint Valley's Daniel Gardner placed 3rd in the 3200 Meter Run. The remaining 12 Boys events will be run Saturday.

CHS Athletic Director Garin Veris says the CHS Athletics/Cavalier Club Alumni Golf Outing for this Saturday (4/21) has been canceled due to the anticipated weather in the forecast.
No new date has been scheduled.
The Cavs Tennis team made it interesting, but managed to earn a sweep of Logan Tuesday night
While the Cavs improved to 2-7 on the season, it could have swayed Logan's way with three tight matches.
Gabe Preston held on for a 6-4,5-7,6-4 win in 1st Singles, Mark Hirsch came back to win 6-2,2-6,7-6 (5) in the 3rd Singles match and the 2nd Doubles team of Jay Sparks and K.J. King bounced back to win 4-6,6-4,6-2.
The Cavs head to Washington Court House Wednesday.

The Lady Cavs Lacrosse team will not be in action Tuesday. Olentangy Orange notified the Cavs late Monday that due to illness, the would not be able to make the match, which was scheduled for 6pm Tuesday night at McVicker Field at Mt. Logan Elementary.
The Cavs dropped to 1-7 overall following a 4-1 match loss to Portsmouth Monday afternoon.
While the Cavs have struggled this season, Noah Adams has had the most success at 4-4 in his Singles matches. Adams just missed in a 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 decision.

After two years and dealing with the elements of Mother Nature last spring, Chillicothe finally hosted a Girls Lacrosse match.
The crowd at Mt. Logan's McVicker Field saw a competitive match with Delaware Hayes.
Chillicothe had earned its first program win last month (12-7 at Delaware), but fell short in sweeping the Pacers for the season, losing 13-11.
The Cavs saw Delaware race out to a 7-2 lead in the first half and the Pacers held an 8-4 edge at the intermission.
Chillicothe rallied to tie the game at 9 on a goal by Whitney Watts and again took an 11-10 lead on a goal by Nicole Camponeschi.
Delaware countered with two quick goals from consecutive face offs and got an insurancegoal within the final minute.
Coach Ryan Camponsechi said "It got really close and thought we were going to pull it off, but they did a great job. I'm really proud of them."
Chillicothe (1-2) will face off with Olentangy Orange this Tuesday at 6pm at McVicker Field.

The Lady Cavs Track team finished ahead of the field at the Ashville Kiwanis Invitational Friday at Teays Valley.
The Boys Track team finished 5th of the eight team field.
The teams now prepare for the annual dual meet with Unioto this Tuesday at Bobo Track at Herrnstein Field.
The Cavs Baseball team (7-8/2-5) earned an SEOAL victory over Jackson, 3-1. The win avenges a 19-9 defeat by the Ironmen earlier this spring. The Cavs are hosting a doubleheader with Northwood Saturday at Ron Hansel Field.
The Cavs Softball team (8-7/2-5) fell short to Jackson 6-4. Chillicothe is at Zane Trace in a doubleheader Saturday.
