Only Noah Adams had success cracking the Waverly Tigers Friday. Adams defeated Nathan Wilburn in 2nd Singles 6-3, 6-3.

Thunderstorms and lightning nixed the home debut of the Chillicothe Girls Lacrosse team last spring, but the weather is going to be great for the 2012 home opener at Mt. Logan's McVicker Field.
The team is 1-1 heading into thier rematch with Delaware at 10:00am. The Lady Cavs earned the program's first win in its season opener at Delaware 12-7.
Coach Ryan Camponeschi and his team will participate in special opening ceremonies followed by the 10:00am face off.
The Cavs came close to their first SEOAL match victory of the year, but fell short Wednesday at Gallia Academy 3-2.
Noah Adams and Gabe Preston won their Singles matches, but the Blue Devils controlled the other matches on the night.
Thursday night, the Cavs had their hands full with the visiting Teays Valley Vikings and dropped a 5-0 decision.
Chillicothe is 1-5 on the season and will host Waverly Friday at 4:30pm at the courts at OUC.
The Chillicothe Girls won a tri-meet at Logan, finishing ahead of the Chieftains and Albany Alexander.
On the heels of Megan Osborne marking the season's best time in the 200 Meter Dash (24.56) last Saturday in a meet at Pickerington, the Lady Cavs won several events including Osborne in the 100, 200 and 400 Meter Dashes. Daesha Patterson win the 800 Meter Run (2:42), Elaine Wilson finished first in the 300 Hurdles with a season best (49.76), Kylie Bethel took the High Jump (4'10"), Baylee Stark won the Long Jump (15'11"), Corinne Patino the Pole Vault (9') and Alyssa Oates swept both the Discus (115'3") and Shot (39'11"). Oates has the second best Shot mark in Cavs history, sitting only behind Shawna Turner.
Josh Garrett won the Boys Discus with a throw of 155'7". Logan won the Boys meet.
Chillicothe runs in the Ashville Kiwanis Invitational at Teays Valley High School Saturday.
Chillicothe won a softball thriller Wednesday with a 5-4 9-inning victory over Logan.
In the Lady Cavs' final at bat, Hayley Robinson advanced to second base on a throwing error. Robinson motored on to third on a fly ball by Bri Dawes. The right fielder dropped the ball allowing Robinson to cross the plate ahead of the throw for the win.
The Cavs had lost at Logan 6-5 last month.
Kayla Keener earns the win and improves to 4-0 on the season. Offensively, Jordan Webb went 3 for 4 and scored 2 runs and Chi Smitley went 2-4 with 2 RBI.
Chilllicothe is now 8-6 overall and 2-4 in the SEOAL.
The Baseball team slipped to 6-8 and 1-5 in the league after falling to Logan 5-2.
Both teams host Jackson Friday.
The Gallia Academy Blue Devils scored early and often for a 5-inning 11-1 victory over Chillicothe Monday.
Gallia scored three times in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd innings and two more times in the 5th to put the game away.
Sean Jones scored the Cavs lone run in the top of the 5th to avoid a shutout.
Chillicothe (5-7/1-4) is scheduled to play Lorain Tuesday at CHS.
The Lady Cavs slipped to 7-6 after falling to Gallia 8-4 in the softball.
BOYS & GIRLS TRACK
The Cavalier Track & Field teams traveled to the Pickerington North Stingle Invitational Saturday. The Girls team finished 5th with 62.5 points and the Boys were 13th of 16 teams.
Megan Osborne was a double winner taking the 100 and 200 Meter Dashes while Jessica Pentecost won the Discus Throw and Alyssa Oates finished second in the Discus and won the Shot Put.
Josh Garrett was the highest finisher for the Boys, placing 4th in the Discus Throw.
The Cavs will be on the road at Logan Wednesday. The Chieftains also competed at Pickerington North Saturday with the Boys placing 6th and Girls 16th.

The Lady Cavs got back on the winning track by completing a double header sweep of Southeastern 11-1 and 14-7.
Chillicothe is now 7-5 and will play at Gallia Academy Monday.
The Cavs had their three-game winning streak snapped in an SEOAL game at Ron Hansel Field Friday night.
Warren broke a 2-2 game with with thre hits for two runs in the top of the 8th inning to beat Chillicothe 4-2.
The Cavs jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning and had that lead stand up until Warren had a two-run at bat in the 6th.
Chillicothe tied the game at 2 in the bottom half of the 6th.
Brandon Bonar and Walker Moss drove in both Chillicothe runs.
Moss suffers the loss in relief of Robbie Vest who had scattered 5 hits a striking out five and walking one.
The Cavs' only extra base hit was by Sean Jackson with a triple. Jalen Mishcal was 2-for-2 on the day.
The Cavs (5-6/1-3) travel to Gallia Academy Monday.
Warren also won the Softball game in extra-innings, beating the Lady Cavs 13-9 in 10 innings.
The Chillicothe Girls are 5-5 and host Southeastern in a doubleheader Saturday.
The Lady Cavs siftball team had its 3 game winning streak snapped at Huntington Thursday night. Chilllicothe had the tying run on third but with two outs had a bang-bang play at first ended the game at 3-2 Huntington. Chillicothe slips to 5-4 on the season.
Meanwhile, the Baseball team earned a 10-2 win over the Huntsmen to improve to 5-5. The Cavs notched their third straight win.
Both teams will host Warren this afternoon at 5:00pm.
Pierce Knisely recorded a complete game victory in Chillicothe's 9-2 win over Portsmouth Wednesday afternoon. The Cavs posted back-back wins for the first time this season, improving to 4-5. The Cavs head to Huntington this afternoon.
The Lady Cavs have won three straight after blanking Portsmouth 10-0 in 5-innings. The Cavs Softball team is now 5-3 and plays at Huntington today.
The Boys Tennis team dropped a 4-1 match at Jackson Wednesday. Noah Adams' 6-1, 6-3 win in 2nd Singles was the only win. Gabe Preston lost in his 1st Singles match 4-6,6-0,6-3, Jacob Hirsch fell in 3rd Singles 6-3,7-5 and the Doubles teams of Jay Sparks/KJ King and Stephan Gilliland/ Derek Smith lost their matches respectively, 6-1,6-4 and 6-2,6-0. The Tennis team gets back to action April 11th at Gallia Academy.
The Girls Track team came up short at Washington Court House Tuesday night, bowing to the Lady Lions 84-49.
