Thursday's head-to-head battle with Zanesville was a record setting night for the Chillicothe Boys Bowling team. The Cavs defeated the Zanesville Blue Devils, 2635 to 2149 at Shawnee Lanes. The 2635 is a new school record, besting last year's 2578.

Robbie Vest led the Cavs with a 280 game, 496 series. Trevor Chaney had a 467 series, Donavon Keel had a 449 series, Jarrad Zeisler had a 415 series and Chase Thatcher had a 400 series.

The Cavs finished the season with a record of 14-2, (10-2 in the SCOC, which is tied for first place with Maysville.)

Zanesville defeated the Lady Cavs 2083 to 1549. Summer Finley led the Lady Cavs with a 336 series. The Lady Cavs finish the season with a record of 6-10,(2-10 in the SCOC).

Both teams resume action Feb.17th at Shawnee Lanes bowling in the sectional tournament at 10:00am.

The Cavs Wrestling team heads to the SEOAL Meet Saturday. Weigh-In takes place at 7:30am and competition begins at 9:30am. Good luck to Coach Troy Smith and the Cavaliers. Let's hope it's a long day with our guys on the podium when done.
