The girlfriend of murder victim Rodney Metcalf took the witness stand Tuesday morning in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court.
The 21-year-old woman and mother of their two children answered questions about Metcalf's drug dealing, including the amount of drugs and money he usually kept with him - none of which were found at the murder scene October 12th.
Later in the day, a 2 1/2 hour post-arrest video of defendant Brent Cox was played, where he repeatedly denied committing the murder of Metcalf.
The defense continues to attempt to poke holes in the prosecution case in the murder trial of defendant Brent Cox.
Earlier, Cox's attorney Michael Hess asked why DNA evidence of an unidentified woman's cigarette found at the scene of the murder of was not followed up on.
The state contends evidence points squarely at Cox.
