The First Capital District Chapter of the American Red Cross has moved to its new headquarters at 181 N. Bridge St., Chillicothe.

To celebrate the move, the chapter is holding its first blood drive on October 19th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The building was donated to the Red Cross by Herbert and Bettie Friedman, and local donations helped pay for renovations.

The drive is in honor of Herbert and Bettie Friedman.
