Economic development is among the important chores facing Ross County Commissioners.

Democrat candidate Steve Neal says he is in favor of tax abatement as a "carrot" to draw prospective business to our area, as well as assisting existing local business to stay here.

Jeff Henness is a builder, by trade, and says he knows what it takes to be a commissioner. Henness sought the commissioners office before, losing to Doug Corcoran in 2010.

Neal has been county auditor for over two decades, but says he has always been interested in running as a county commissioner.
