Sheriff George Lavender reports that on Tuesday, November 20th his office was called to 3867 Mingo Road in reference to a missing female.

Deputies arrived on the scene shortly before 3:00 p.m. and met with family members of Suzette Mendenhall. Family members reported that Mrs. Mendenhall had taken her dog for a walk at approximately 11:30 a.m.

The dog returned to the home about a half hour later but Mrs. Mendenhall did not. Family members said that Mrs. Mendenhall had several health issues.

At 3:50 p.m. Ross County Search and Rescue was called and members began searching for Mendenhall in the area.  Mrs. Mendenhall was found inside a residence at 2555 Mindo Road by a member of search and rescue at approximately 5:12 p.m.

Mrs. Mendenhall was found unresponsive, but breathing with a pulse. Mrs. Mendenhall was transported to Adena Emergency Room.
