One of two juvenile inmates was recaptured Thanksgiving eve, after escaping near Bainbridge.
The Hillsboro Police Department reported that at about 7:50 p.m. Thursday, two juveniles had escaped from a Ross County youth facility there.
The report additionally states that the Ross County Sheriff's Department reported that one may have received a ride to Hillsboro.
After about an hour and a half the two departments spotted one inmate - still in his detention clothing - walking near High and North streets in Hillsboro.
A police officer took him into custody without incident.
The whereabouts of the other youth was not stated in the report.
