All those gifts under the Christmas tree last month come with a price tag and you're likely going to have to deal with it this month. But, a survey shows nearly a quarter of Ohioans don't have a plan for their holiday debt.

The Ohio Credit Union League surveyed more than 11-hundred Ohioans and found only 32 percent saved throughout the year for Christmas gifts. Patrick Harris with the League says the best advice is to pay off the full balance of your credit card if possible. If that's not an option try and do more than just the monthly minimum.

He also suggests you plan ahead and start saving a little aside each month now for the 2013 holidays.
