Someone is trying to pull-off a scam among South Central Power Company customers.

Company spokesperson Cathy Bitler says an individual has reportedly approached a customer in Clarksburg, making claims that South Central was merging with Dayton Power & Light.

In that scam, the individual asks for the customers account information. There is no such merger taking place.
