Authorities say a group of three to five masked and armed men forced their way into a home in the North Linden area at 1:30am, January 18th.

The men woke up the family, made demands, and then shot 17-year-old Denis Lewis, who struggled with one of the men after he threatened Lewis's mother. Lewis died from his injuries and the men fled.

Authorities believe that those responsible for the crime have ties to southern Ohio.

A $2,000 reward is available for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
