The February 1st Zane Trace FFA Sausage & Pancake Breakfast is a longstanding tradition. The 35th annual breakfast runs between 5am-9am in the Zane Trace School Cafetorium.
The hogs that supply the sausage is local. But, health code regulations don't allow the students to butcher the hogs themselves any more, although the students do turn the meat into sausage as well as cook it.
Proceeds from the breakfast go to Nationwide Childrens Hospital in Columbus, Ross County Junior Fairboard and FCCLA. $750 was raised last year.
Breakfast goes for a donation of $3.
