A Circleville man who was indicted on first- and second-degree felony counts has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. Last September, 29-year-old Thomas D. Williams was arrested on charges of kidnapping (F1) and the attempted rape (F2) of a 15-year-old girl.
Defense attorneys Benjamin Partee and Chase Carter say a plea agreement was made in the Pickaway County Court of Common Pleas, Wednesday, in which Williams pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree felony of gross sexual imposition.
Pickaway County Assistant Prosecutor Matt O'Leary anticipates sentencing will take place in four to six weeks.
