Jeremy Siberell saw approval of the third, and final, annual payment for part of a recent civic improvement - a payment of about $21,700 to Englefield Oil, the owner of the BP gas station where North Plaza Boulevard was relocated.
Bridge Street is still just as busy...but since then, a little less congested there at the north side of US 35.
Dustin Proehl oversaw the first reading of a revision of yard sale regulations to prevent endless yard markets.
But the city wanted to allow residents to still make a little money in tough times - so the law, dating to 1979, will be changed to restrict the length of sales...but allow more times.
But, the fees will increase with each additional sale.
Proehl urges citizens to give council members feedback before the third reading and passage of the ordinance.
