Ross County health and safety officials are praising area motorists for the drastic decline in traffic deaths- compared to this time last year.
By March 20th of last year, 10 people had died in traffic acciednts in the county, compared to only one thus far this year.
Rami Yoakum is with Ross County Health Department says six of those fatal last year, were in the month of March alone.
The group, Ross Safe Communities, is planning an informational campaign through the spring to remind teens and adults about safe driving, including prom season. Prom season kicks into high gear next month, as all of the schools in Ross County will conduct their activities in April.
