An Adena Elementary School Teacher has been charged with assault, in connection with a student being “scratched” on the neck and face.

Ross County Sheriff George Lavender confirmed to Clear Channel News that  46-year-old Heidi Lovensheimer of Londonderry, had been charged after a summons had been issued against her.

The teacher allegedly grabbed the students face, scratching his jaw and neck. Lovensheimer had been placed on leave by Adena Schools over the last couple of weeks, while the matter was being investigated.
