An event will be held next month that organizers hope will bring awareness to the sexual assault that occurs locally.

In 2012, 136 survivors of sexual assault from 17 counties in three states were served by the Adena Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program and the Southern Ohio Sexual Assault Survivor Advocates. So to raise awareness about the issue, the 2013 Take a Walk in Her Shoes event will take place next month.
