Two Chillicothe men were arrested following a burglary in Ross County, Tuesday. According to Sheriff George Lavender, deputies were sent to the 1000-block of Bowdle Road at 11am where they found forced entry had been made into a home.
A tip led authorities to the nearby residence of 21-year-old Matthew Smith. Deputies say a warrant was obtained after stolen items were found in Smith's yard.
Other stolen goods were reportedly found in his home as well.
Smith was arrested for burglary and receiving stolen property, while 23-year-old Larell Netter, who was also in the home at the time of the search, was arrested for receiving stolen property and obstructing official business, according to Sheriff Lavender.
