Tickets are on sale now for the Southern Ohio Storytelling Festival, Thursday through Saturday, September 5th-11th. Reduced rates are available this week for both one-day and full-event festival passes for children, adults and families. Beginning September 1, standard rates will apply. Ticket prices range from $5 for children or single events to $40 for the all-events family passes.
The 10th annual festival, featuring nationally and regionally acclaimed performers, will be staged entirely outdoors under a tent on the lawn beside the Pump House Center for the Arts in Yoctangee Park. Each show is unique with different themes and stories; none are repeat performances.
The public is invited to Thursday evening’s free "sneak-peek" preview concert, a sampler of stories and tellers to be featured throughout the weekend. All festival visitors are invited to share their favorite tales during a Story Swap session on Saturday afternoon.
