Adena senior Kirk Yates says he will play college baseball at the University of Rio Grande.

The school is somehwat familiar to his family, as both his father and mother played sports for Rio. His father Ed, is the Adena Baseball Coach.

Yates is last year's SVC "Player of the Year", and just led his Warriors teammates to a conference title earlier this week and are a top seed heading to tournaments.

Kirk says he will probably play outfield and do some pitching at Rio.
