Ross County roads have been a deadly area to drive thus far this year.

As we just enter the second quarter of the year, Ross County is on a deadly path for setting a new record for traffic fatals. Eleven people have already died in eight fatal crashes.

Lt. John Moore of the Ohio Highway Patrol says their investigations of these fatalities have pointed to "distracted driving". Moore says the motoring public needs to realize that driving is a serious responsibility and requires your full attention when behind the wheel.
