A new episode of "Toddlers & Tiaras" will feature the two from Chillicothe
A couple of children from Chillicothe will be featured on national television for a second time through a show on TLC.
Lori Mathews is mother to 9-year-old Alaska and 6-year-old Braxton, who were both followed by cameras for their participation in the Southern Celebrity Fairy Tale Winter Pageant that was held in West Virginia, last December. Their episode ran on Wednesday night.
"Toddlers & Tiaras is just kind of a glimpse into what it takes to get everything ready for them, and that's what we do as a family: that's our hobby, and that's our sport," said Mathews.
Mathews added pageantry has helped her children grow, which can be seen since they were first featured on the show last June.
"Pageants (have) really helped my son come out of his shell, and Alaska, also, she has just blossomed into a little performer."
