Brent Cox will now go on trial in Circleville on June 4th.
The trial of a Pickaway County man accused of Aggravated Murder and Aggravated Robbery has been delayed.
32-year-old Brent Cox was slated to go on trial Monday, April 16th in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court for the October 12th fatal shooting of 43-year-old Rodney Metcalf. The court of Judge P. Randall Knece says that trial has been continued until June 4th.
Cox is accused of being the gunman in the shooting, which also recently saw 46-year-old Donald Shepard plead guilty to his role on related charges of involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery. Shepard was sentenced to 16-years in prison for his participation in the attempt to steal cash and drugs from Metcalf.
