A Chillicothe man was arrested in the early morning raid Friday.
Detectives with the Chillicothe Police Department along with the Special Response Team served a search warrant at 6am Friday at an apartment located at 250 West Water Street. Seized during the search of the apartment was heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash.
Arrested was Joshua W. Ballard who was charged with possession of heroin and obstructing official business. He was also served with a warrant out of Ross County Common Pleas Court for failure to appear on two separate felony drug charges and a misdemeanor warrant out of Chillicothe Municipal Court charging failure to appear on a driving under suspension charge.
Evidence will be sent to the crime lab at BCI&I and additional charges will be presented to the Ross County Grand Jury.
