Unemployment is down more than a full point from this time last year.
Ohio's jobless figure dropped slightly in March, compared to February- going from 7.6% to 7.5%. However, the new 7.5% rate is more than a full point below this time last year, when it was 8.8%.
Ohio Department of Job & Family Sservices spokesman Ben Johnson says hiring in the retail industry was up, while jobs in the service-providing industries decreased.
