Brandon Raney is accused of threatening a woman with a gun, Thursday.
A Chillicothe man was arrested on the allegation he threatened a woman with a gun, Thursday. Chillicothe Police were called to a Plyleys Lane home on a domestic dispute just after 12:30pm. The 27-year-old victim said she and 28-year-old Brandon Raney had a verbal argument that escalated when she ended their relationship. She said Raney placed a gun to the back of her head and said that if he couldn't have her that no one could.
The victim said Raney then placed the gun to his own head. She was able to flee.
Authorities found an unloaded 9mm Luger automatic, a box of 9mm rounds, and a magazine with 30 rounds all under a mattress.
The gun had been reported stolen from a West Virginia business. Raney was arrested for aggravated menacing and domestic violence.
