The flights begin May 31st out of Rickenbacker Airport
Hundreds, if not thousands of people in the Scioto Valley travel to Myrtle Beach for vacation each year.
Beginning May 31st, non-stop flights to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will be offered from four of Ohio's largest cities- including Columbus. Vision Airlines says they targeted Ohio because they found a large number of visitors to Myrtle Beach were from the buckeye state.
Vision Airlines spokesperson Gina Strobel says one-way ticket prices start at $109 dollars and run up to $189, depending on where you are flying from. The flights, on Boeing 737 aircraft, average about an hour and a half.
Columbus flights are leaving from Rickenbacker Airport.
