Coroner John Gabis moderated a forum that featured a woman who found sobriety after an 18-year addiction.

An example of the hope that is possible for people suffering from drug abuse was heard during a Community Open Forum Tuesday night.

Frankfort native Brandy Morris went from good student at Adena High School to a drug addict. Morris says a decision to change and leaning upon her faith has led from from being an 18-year-addict to sobriety over the last three years.

Morris has now been sober for three years, and is the executive director of the Chillicothe Daughters of Ruth Shelter for Women.
