Pike County authorities arrested to people, Tuesday evening.
Two people were arrested for making methamphetamine in Piketon, Tuesday. Pike County Sheriff Richard Henderson says at 8:30pm, authorities found the subjects in a wooded area behind a church on Chenoweth Fork Road along with an odor of chemicals and numerous items used to make meth.
23-year-old Justin Bryant and 29-year-old Kimberly Burkitt were both charged with illegal manufacture of meth, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals to make meth, and possession of criminal tools. Bryant also had a failure to appear warrant for illegal assembly.
Bryant and Burkitt were taken to the Scioto County Jail, and their case will be presented to a grand jury.
