BK Robbery Suspects Indicted

Dana James and Brock James are accused of robbing a local Burger King in April.

On Friday, a Ross County grand jury indicted two Chillicothe men for the robbery of a fast food restaurant. Chillicothe Police were called to the North Bridge Street Burger King at 4:23am on April 21st. One employee said he was followed into the restaurant by two men. 27-year-old Dana James is accused of brandishing a gun, ordering the employees to the ground, and demanding money, while Brock James allegedly held the trash bag into which an employee emptied five cash register trays.

The men, who are brothers, fled but were arrested on May 11th and are being held on a $250,000 bond.

Dana has been indicted for aggravated robbery with a gun specification and Brock for complicity to aggravated robbery. If convicted, both could face 3-10 years in prison and $20,000 in fines.

Also indicted are: 25-year-old Deshawn M. Crawley, of Columbus, for possession of marijuana; 28-year-old Eric J. Sines, of Chillicothe, for aggravated possession of drugs and tampering with evidence; 43-year-old Richard D. Edwards, of South Salem, for tampering with evidence and two counts of aggravated possession of drugs.
