Tim Winland to be the new Superintendent following action Monday by PV Brd of Ed.
The Paint Valley school board unanimously selected Tim Winland as new Superintendent. Winland will replace current Superintendent Gary Uhrig. Winland, a Pickerington native, is currently the Middle School Principal and Transportation Director for Heath City Schools.
Paint Valley school board President Missy Hirn-Pulliam said of Winland,"we look forward to benefiting from his leadership skills in our district." She also added," we feel Mr. Winland is the individual who will best meet the needs of our district."
Winland received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, his teaching certificate from Otterbein, and his Educational Administration degree from Ashland University.
Winland said he chose Paint Valley because he liked the fact it was a smaller district and you get a real kind of sense of family and get to know people really well.
