Adena Hospice Wants Volunteers

Free three hour training session

Training is available for anyone interested in volunteering with Adena Hospice.

The Hospice provides an alternative to traditional or conventional care for people with life-limiting illnesses in Ross, and its surrounding counties.

Training sessions begin Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 21 at 111 W. Water Street, Chillicothe. Sessions will take place from 1- 4:00 p.m. and 6- 9:00 p.m. Volunteers need only register for one, three-hour session.

Volunteer services can include anything from picking up prescriptions, mowing grass, grocery shopping or just being there to give the caregiver a break. Anyone over age 14 can serve as a hospice volunteer.
